Written shortly after the Great Theft of 2020 engineered by the Democrats and the PRC in service of the Great Reset.
I told my friend I thought this shorter description of capitalism versus socialism and communism was far more useful for his purposes, though it will still make his teacher’s head explode, which is also a noble purpose:
CAPITALISM is where you own stuff and decide how and why you want to use it for your own good and the good of your family according to what seems good to you. When you have millions and millions of other people are doing this, you have a free, capitalist society that becomes very wealthy in completely unpredictable ways.
SOCIALISM is where you own stuff that you are allowed to own and have to use it the way the people in charge say you must for the good of society, but they decide what that is. You can’t decide, because you’re too stupid or greedy to take care of yourself. You need them to do it, at least that’s what they tell you and want you to believe.
That society can be rich to the extent the socialists have not yet destroyed what the capitalists have built. And it will become an enslaved, impoverished shit hole with both the rate and degree the socialists exert their death grip on productive human behavior and pervert it to their own sick uses.
The US is [or was] still pretty strong after almost 140 years of socialist scheming on their “long march through the institutions,” until they control enough to control it all.
Venezuela, though, at one time one of the richest countries in Latin America, has, at the hands of two jerks connected at the hip with the kleptocracy of Cuba, been turned into a shit hole in a couple of decades and at the same rate that the two jerks and their families became multi-billionaires while the Venezuelans ate zoo animals and starved.
COMMUNISM is where a bunch of violent crooks say that all existing society is hopelessly bad and to save the human race they have to tear it all down and start over. To do that they must own everything and they must control everything. And in that attempt, around the world, they have typically killed millions and millions of people in that process that never does work as they described.
If you insist you don’t need them and want to own your own property and make your own decisions, they will call you an enemy of the people who is selfishly trying to steal the people’s property and will take it from you and “educate” you until you give in. And if you don’t, they will call you an enemy of the Revolution and kill you.
As I told him:
Actually, you really should think of socialism and communism as modern forms of tribalism.
In a tribe, the tribe comes first, but the people running the tribe come even more first.
The people running the tribe get to declare what’s most important to the tribe, meaning, to them personally.
The way you move up into tribal power is NEVER to do anything for the tribe.
Why?
Because if you, on your own, do something that is very beneficial for the tribe, something that has never been done before, how do you think the people running the tribe will look at that?
They will think one of these two things:
1. They will think that you are doing that in order to make them, the tribal leaders, look stupid because THEY never thought of anything like that or, if they did, it was just too much goddamned work for THEM without enough to show for it, meaning an increase in their power, control, or personal wealth.
For instance, suppose someone in the tribal leadership wants to build a road, but it will wreck half of someone’s house. If they change the direction of the road to avoid the house it will cost a lot more time and effort and money to them—well, no, to the tribe, meaning less money for them to extract from the tribe’s productive output. If they build another house for the poor guy whose house happens to get in the way of their plans, then it will cost a lot more time and money and effort for them.
Their solution?
Tell the poor sucker whose house had been there since his grandfather’s boyhood that “for the good of the tribe,” he’s screwed, meaning, really, for the good of those tribal leaders who want the shortest possible road at the least possible cost to go in the easiest possible fashion to another cooler location where they will sit around in the heat of the afternoon, drinking beer, scratching their nuts, and looking important. And, oh, gee, that other location just happens to be where someone else’s house had stood forever but, hey, for the good of the tribe he will have to get screwed, too.
2. They will think, because of all the sneaky shit they have pulled on the tribe for their own reasons, that you are doing something that actually IS really for the tribe’s good because you’re planning to take over and you’re giving the people of the tribe good reasons to help you do it.
Rules for Moving On Up in a Tribe
So the way to move up in the tribe is either ass-kissing or violence.
You generally ass-kiss first to make yourself useful to one of the tribal leaders.
But you can’t just go directly there because there are a LOT of other ass-kissers already in line. Cut in front of them and they’ll cut your throat. See? The violence part.
So if you’re smart, you will see which one of those lower level guys looks smart enough to get high enough and act ruthless enough once he gets there to knock off someone at the top “for the good of the tribe,” and you rise along with him.
But you have to be careful because there are others looking to hitch themselves to that guy and if you’re not careful, you’ll find yourself knocked off way down at the bottom before you can ever make it to the top and knock off someone there.
Remember that movie The Death of Stalin?
People were either scared to death of the top people of the Communist tribe and tried to remain invisible or they tried to use their connections to move up toward the top.
That was the way of maybe good ideas and a willingness to kill anyone in your way, or maybe just a willingness to kill anyone in your way, especially those with good ideas that could make you look stupid, unless you just kill them and take their good ideas or, if you’re smarter, get them to think you’ll help them move toward the top as they let you help them with their good ideas.
And then you do it in a way that gets you the credit for the good idea from those above you while you make them think the one you got it from is their enemy, well, an enemy of the tribe. This way they will feel ingratiated for the good idea that helps THEM and for the warning that protect THEM from the other guy that you, having stolen his good idea and falsely ratted out, need to get rid of and, so, you move up and the ones higher up get the blame for knocking off the guy whose idea you stole.
And finally, when you get high enough and think you have the balls enough, you can knock off one of the top people and be one step away from taking the top spot—except that all the other guys up there are every bit the ruthless prick that you are and are ready to use ANYTHING they can find on you to knock you off or knock you out of your position in order to protect their own asses, I mean, for the good of the tribe.
To sum up:
Tribalism means never having to be responsible to anything larger than your group, expecting your group to cut you slack because it’s your group, expecting your group to float your lazy ass because it’s your group, claiming that other, more successful groups got that way by stealing from your group, and feeling justified for busting that other, more successful group and taking its stuff because its success made your group look bad.

This also is a description of the way political tribalism works.
Think of Trump.
He came into the situation where politicians of both major parties are thought by the majority of the people to be selfish pricks who use their government positions only to enrich themselves and their family and friends.
They do it, not through capitalism where they actually have to produce something that people are willing to pay their own money for; no, they do it by taking money from the people in the form of taxes and using it to pass laws beneficial to a relatively few rich and powerful people who will keep them getting re-elected to keep the political favors coming.
And in their positions, by knowing how their laws will affect certain companies badly, they can sell their stocks before they get hurt; by knowing which companies will benefit the most from a change in the law, they can buy up lots of stock when it’s cheaper and then, when the stock prices zoom up after news in the change in the law, they can sell it at a higher price than they paid and use this money to do it again and again and soon become multimillionaires.
You could be like Obama who publicly said he was going to put the coal companies out of business and then, after the stock prices crashed, his billionaire socialist buddy George Soros can go in and buy shitloads of stock at lower prices and not only be in a position to make money when the stock prices go back up but also be in the position of controlling the supply of coal in order to push his socialist, environmentalist ideas and move a little closer toward higher positions where he can exert control over everything.
And they’re planning this right now.
They call it “the great global reset.”
One of the things they have been doing is creating the Covid-19 scare and using it to destroy small businesses.
Why?
Small businesses represent individuals using their own money and time to produce goods and services for others to buy. If most people are employed by small businesses and you want to control those people and their jobs and their lives, then you have to knock off the small businesses and retain only the largest businesses that are loyal to your plans. Then you will have everyone by their balls.
This is what the German socialists were doing in the 18th and early 19th centuries .
They controlled the guilds which basically means they controlled or owned the big businesses. They didn’t want competition by people with better ideas and better products starting small businesses that would grow and then push them out. So they tried to control it all. In fact, Marxism is opposed to innovation because, it claims, it makes things obsolete and causes “the workers” to lose their jobs and destabilizes society. What that really means is they are opposed to anything that could weaken their grip on the neck of the golden egg-laying goose.
Into the political version of this comes Donald Trump, a businessman, a multi-billionaire. He doesn’t need to get into the political tribe of either party to make money because he already has it. And he got it by being a good businessman and producing products that people wanted to buy or invest in.
He is exactly the kind of person the politician are NOT.
In business, you make promises and if don’t come through on them, you will soon cause your business to fail, and you may also go to prison, unlike the political tribes who pass laws with an exception for them.
They make promises to get elected and then don’t keep them but say, “Hey, I really, really tried, but it was so difficult because of evil business interests working against me, but together, when you put me back in Congress for the 20th time, we may make progress.”
Trump came along and said to the American people, “Look. I’m not a politician like those guys who are always making promises and never delivering. I hear your concerns.”
“The politicians say there’s nothing we can do about the illegal aliens you guys are worried about? I will build a wall and work to find and expel criminal aliens.”
And he did, especially those involved in human trafficking and foreign gangs like MS13.
“Obama said there’s nothing that can be done to bring manufacturing jobs back to the US and that’s the new normal? He asked what was I going to use, a magic wand? No, I will end the unfair trade advantages that politicians have been giving to China and other nations and I will bring those jobs back.”
And he did.
“Obama left our military in a shambles. I will build a military that has no equal in the world, not so we can go into wars throughout the world, but so that we will be strong enough to make others think twice about fucking with us (and he actually said that). I will bring our soldiers home from these endless wars in the Middle East.”
And he has done all that.
“Professional politicians claim that peace in the Middle East between Israel and the Muslim nations either is impossible without their expertise or is possible only if Israel is harmed. I will do something different because I won’t use the approach they do, which is to make sure the problem continues so they’ll always have a job. Instead, I will show these nations that peace treaties and accords with Israel will be beneficial to them and make them all stronger against bullies like Obama’s favorite Muslim country and unlawful recipient of almost $10 billion unlawfully given in the middle of the night as BUNDLES OF CASH ON PALLETS, Iran.”
And he did. He ended Obama’s phony pact with Iran. His son-in-law working for him negotiated peace treaties between Israel and four or five Muslim nations in the Middle East and Africa.
No one has EVER done this.

A Reckoning by the Political Tribal Leaders
So how do you think the leaders of the two main political tribes felt when they saw someone who didn’t go through them but went directly to the people?
How do you think they felt when the people chose him over the folks the political tribes put out as candidates?
How do you think they felt when he won the general election against the supposedly unbeatable Hillary “I ❤️ Jeffrey Epstein” Clinton without their help and against their opposition?
How do you think they felt when they saw him keeping his promises and increasing his support among blacks and Hispanics that the Democrat tribe has depended on for votes and the Republican tribe couldn’t attract?
So what have they done since then?
For over four years, they have committed a vast number of criminal acts and tried to destroy him, but he never gives up and he always manages to use whatever they try to harm him with to beat them down. For him this has been the rule.
Now they have used a very large criminal conspiracy to steal his votes and to give illegal votes to a mentally-ill, corrupt, mendacious, abusive old pervert who spent the entire campaign hiding out in his basement but who is supported by China, as are a majority of the top people of both political tribes.
